Although this isn’t an 100% amateur radio related blog post I thought I would share my experiences with this company, because a lot of us get t-shirts with our callsigns on and also for “special activities”. I first came across spreadshirt which is based in Germany a couple of months ago just searching around the internet.

But for this semester at university for multimedia graphics design the assignment was to re brand a company/organisation so I decided to do it on the “Cray Valley Radio Society” which I’m a member of, after I created the logo I thought it would be a great idea to get the logo printed onto a t-shirt and also a mug so I could show it during the presentation which i’ve got to give just after the new year.

Ordering was painless, just upload the graphic which for me was a Adobe Illustrator vector image to spreadshirt.net server, select the items you would like and you get to design how they will look on screen, input credit card details and wait for delivery which for me took 5 days to the UK via DHL.
Spreadshirt Delivery
t-shirt / mug
Surprisingly my order arrived on a Saturday morning from a parcel force worldwide so my best guess would be that DHL has outsourced delivery in Oxford! All nicely packaged and the mug wasn’t broken the quality of the t-shirt was impressive for a value item the t-shirt was nice and thick and the printing on it was fantastic.

Total cost: £23.00
